NOW AND THE FUTURE
DFS has been a global leader in driving innovation of fuel dispensing equipment for nearly 130 years, and has been recognized as a market leader in the alternative energy segment for decades.
Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a mixture of gaseous hydrocarbons produced from natural gas and oil extraction and from oil refining. It is automatically generated during the production of methane and during the refining process itself. LPG has has lower greenhouse gas emissions than other fossil fuels when measured on a total fuel cycle.
Synthetic - or carbon neutral - fuels use carbon monoxide captured during the manufacturing process, which can be used to produce a range of traditional fuels, making the resulting replica products much more eco-friendly.
Bio fuels are fuel that are derived from natural sources, such as plants, algae or animal waste, and therefore are considered a source of renewable energy. Examples of bio fuels include ethanol and biodiesel.
Fuel additives are available for both petrol and diesel powered vehicles and offer a wide range of benefits, including reducing the amount of emissions that are produced from the burning of fossil fuels.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), a fuel based primarily on methane, is the cleanest of all fossil fuels, as when burned, it releases carbon dioxide and water vapor into the atmosphere: the same compounds we exhale when we breathe, helping to reduce the harmful effects of greenhouse gas emissions.
Electricity is considered one of the cleanest ways to power modern cars. Electric vehicles are 100% eco-friendly and do not emit any harmful emissions or fume whilst you drive, making them the go-to choice for many environmentally-conscious motorists.
