Several service stations across Saudi Arabia recently undertook a major automation upgrade, one aimed at improving operational efficiencies while meeting the growing demands of the regions diverse customer base.

Most stations were operating in manual or semi-automatic mode with limited visibility over real tank levels and fuel discrepancies, pump performance and transaction accuracy, integration with modern payment and back-office systems, centralised monitoring and reporting – all resulting in inefficiencies, delayed reporting, and higher operational risk.

Through valued local partner, GTS, Dover Fueling Solutions^® (DFS) automation products and solutions – including the DFS Fusion^® automation server V3, ProGauge^™ automatic tank gauge console, and ProGauge^™ Magnetostrictive Probes – were deployed as part of a multi-site automation program across different fuel station networks in Saudi Arabia.
