Introducing the Wayne® Auxiliary DEF Cabinet

AUSTIN, TX – October 6, 2025 – Dover Fueling Solutions® (DFS) is pleased to announce the introduction of the Wayne® Auxiliary DEF Cabinet. The Auxiliary DEF Cabinet – for dispensing of diesel exhaust fluid – mounts adjacent to specific models of Wayne Ovation®, Ovation® HS (high speed), Helix®, and Select® fuel dispensers to provide the ability to offer DEF without modifying the bezel or hydraulics of the dispenser. An interconnection cable between the main dispenser and the Auxiliary DEF cabinet, allows the main dispenser to manage the DEF cabinet activation, hose, and meter. The payment user interface and sales display on the main dispenser are utilized as if DEF was contained in the main dispenser.

The Auxiliary DEF Cabinet is available in single-sided or dual-sided models. For dispensers with push-to-start (PTS) activation buttons (or Select® dispenser lift-to start), the DEF PTS and unit price display(s) are on the DEF cabinet. For Ovation® dispensers with DFS Anthem UX® platform, the flexibility of the touchscreen display allows DEF to be added to the main screen. Optional valances may be added for enhanced DEF branding.

The Auxiliary DEF Cabinet includes the same field-proven DEF features as Ovation® HS diesel plus DEF dispensers:

• Cold rated to -40F / -40C
• Automatic self-closing nozzle and hose doors
• Nozzle door stay-open latch for warm-weather user convenience
• Innovative hose handling with first 6 feet of free hanging hose and additional 5.5 feet of retractable hose
• Specially coated Wayne iMeter™ DEF fuel meter with easy electronic calibration

A warm-climate model, less nozzle and hose doors, insulation, and heaters, is also available for regions that do not experience temperatures less than 12F.

POS Compatibility*

The Auxiliary DEF Cabinet adds another hose to the main dispenser, changing its hose configuration. Bulloch POS™, Verifone™ POS, NCR® RPOS/Next Generation POS, and the Allied NeXGen® forecourt controller do not have any known limitations with the compatible models listed above; however, it is necessary for the dispenser purchaser to ensure its Point of Sale system (POS) can handle the new configuration. POS systems using the Allied NeXGen controller need to be consulted on their ability to configure the additional hose on the POS side. GVR Passport® Point of Sale currently does not handle Wayne Ovation® B34/5 dispenser models with the addition of the Auxiliary DEF Cabinet. For other POS, you can inquire through your DFS Regional Account Manager and confirm any information provided by DFS with your POS provider.
