Yes. The product is available today for ordering, listed by UL/ULC and stamped with FCCdocumented approval.

Standard lead time is 2 weeks.

As of July 2025, the PetroVend AX7 FIT is a replacement for the legacy PetroVend® 100 (PV100) FIT and also the Pro version of PetroVend® 200 (PV200) FIT. Over time, the PetroVend AX7 system will evolve to replace the PV200 and PetroVend® 300E (PV300E) FITs when used with external site controllers, but for the time being we continue to sell and support the PV200 and PV300E. DFS will notify customers once the other terminals have an equal or better product released to sell.

You do not need a PetroVend Synergy Fuel Site Controller™ (FSC) or FSC3000® with the PetroVend AX7. The functionality is built into the PetroVend AX7. When the FIT-only version of the PetroVend AX7 is released, it will be compatible with the PetroVend Synergy FSC.

No, the PetroVend AX7 will only be compatible with DX Fleet®. There is a feature-light version of DX Fleet that ensures the PetroVend AX7 is configurable and supported once deployed. Additionally, there are roadmap plans to create an on-premise version of DX Fleet that will not require the cloud, but will still require an annual subscription. Any back-end solution will have automated tools to assist in migrating customers from the legacy Phoenix® solutions to any of the newer software solutions.

Sites can use a wired/wireless Ethernet connection to the PetroVend AX7 FIT. Cellular options are available if the site does not have connectivity available.

The PetroVend AX7 system is compatible with our existing PCM relays for up to 8 mechanical fueling points. The system can also be ordered with a Fusion Interface Board (FIB) to interface directly to electronic pumps without the need for additional external devices.

  • Installation and Service training is available via our LMS system.
  • End-user/Operator training includes support materials, including tutorial videos, linked directly in the HELP section of DX Fleet. In-depth private tutorials are available for a fee.
  • The Customer Success team hosts Open Office Hours sessions that are held every 2-3 weeks throughout the year for the DX Fleet community of users.

Yes. Customers will need to sign a subscription agreement and maintain an annual license for DX Fleet. DX Fleet is a cloud-based fuel management solution that gives the user the ability to manage an entire fleet fueling enterprise remotely. DX Fleet delivers real-time monitoring of proprietary cards, transactions, alerts, notifications and reports.

Yes, a site in DX Fleet that uses the PetroVend AX7 can actually have two units running in parallel on the same site (FSC Gateway 1 and FSC Gateway 2). This allows for up to two PetroVend AX7 fuel island terminals and 16-hose control at a single DX Fleet site location.

The controller types must match within a DX Fleet organization, so an organization utilizing PetroVend AX7 FIT can only contain additional PetroVend AX7 sites. Because the Synergy FSC can handle multiple FIT types, it is possible to have different FIT styles at multiple sites, as long as all sites have a PetroVend Synergy FSC as the controller.

Yes, as of year-end 2025.
