Earlier this month, Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) proudly hosted local officials, business leaders, and community partners at our North America headquarters in Austin, Texas for the Made in Texas: Wayne PWR™ Showcase. This event, aligned with National Infrastructure Week, highlighted our steadfast commitment to advancing clean energy infrastructure and domestic manufacturing for over 100 years.
During the showcase, DFS leadership shared updates on our substantial investments in U.S. manufacturing and unveiled four new power configurations in the Wayne PWR™ DC fast charger product line—each designed and built locally. These groundbreaking models will expand EV charging accessibility across both new-build and retrofit fuel sites, reinforcing DFS's reputation for innovation, flexibility, and real-world application.
Key Voices on the Future of EV Charging
The event featured insights from esteemed speakers, including:
“One of the biggest challenges in the EV charging industry is reliability,” said Chad Bass, Director of Product Management for EV Charging at DFS. “Unlike competitors who white-label EV chargers through partners, we manufacture Wayne PWR™ right here in Austin. By maintaining direct control over production, we ensure the highest standards of reliability.”
Strengthening Domestic Manufacturing & Community Impact
The speakers emphasized the essential role of public-private collaboration, the strategic value of domestic manufacturing, and Round Rock’s emergence as a hub for clean energy and infrastructure innovation. Through ongoing product development, robust operations, and long-term community investment, DFS is actively shaping the future of EV readiness at both local and national levels.
With over 700 full-time employees in the region and a rich legacy of product development, DFS stands as a leader in clean energy technology and remains a proud, engaged member of the Texas business community.
“At DFS, innovation is more than passion – it’s what drives our work every day," said Kendra Keller, VP and GM of North America. "But above all, we take immense pride in saying we’re made in America—and even more pride in saying we’re built in Texas. And as we all know, everything in Texas is bigger and better.”
